Disability Action Plan 2014-2018: Update 2015

The Disability Action Plan (the Plan) sets out priorities for action that promote disabled people’s participation and contribution in society.

It intentionally focuses on issues that need more than one organisation to progress, because they do not lie neatly in any one agency’s responsibilities. The Plan is jointly governed by Disabled People's Organisations and government agencies. This 2015 update reflects two rounds of public consultation run by the Office for Disability Issues, and was agreed through negotiations between Disabled People's Organisations and government agencies. Cabinet approved the updated Plan in December 2015.
